CCTV Installation Details

Brand Preference: This refers to the manufacturer of the CCTV cameras and related equipment. Our recommended brands are known for their reliability.

Connectivity:

Our CCTV systems use IP (PoE) technology, meaning a single Ethernet cable provides both power and video. This setup is more reliable, easier to maintain, and offers higher-quality transmission compared to older technologies.

Number of Cameras:

Desired Resolution:

Resolution is measured in megapixels (MP). Higher resolution provides a clearer, more detailed image, which is better for identifying faces and license plates, but it also increases the storage and bandwidth requirements for your system.

ColorVu / Full Color at Night:

"ColorVu" cameras use advanced lenses and sensors to provide full color images 24/7, even in extremely low light conditions, which significantly improves the ability to identify objects and people at night. Standard infrared cameras only produce black and white images in low light.

Audio Capabilities:

NVR Channels:

The number of channels determines how many cameras the NVR can support. You should choose a system with a higher channel count than your current camera needs if you plan to add more cameras in the future. This will save you from having to purchase a completely new system later on.

Hard Drive Capacity:

The hard drive stores your video footage. A larger capacity allows for more days of continuous recording before the oldest footage is overwritten. For example, a 1TB hard drive might store a week of footage, while a 4TB drive could store a month.

Alarm System Installation Details

Sensors and detectors are the "eyes" and "ears" of your alarm system. This includes things like motion detectors, door/window contacts, and glass break sensors. The number you need depends on how many areas and entry points you want to protect.

Number of Control Panels:

The control panel is the central hub for arming and disarming your system. A single panel is usually sufficient for most homes, but you might want to add more if you have multiple entrances or a larger property where you want to control the system from different locations.

Number of Sirens:

Sirens provide an audible alarm when the system is triggered. The number of sirens you need depends on the size of your property and the desired sound coverage. A single, loud siren might be enough, but multiple sirens can ensure the alarm is heard both inside and outside the property.

Intercom System Installation Details

Intercom Model:

This specifies the brand of the intercom system. We primarily install Hikvision intercoms, known for their reliability and advanced features.

Number of Indoor Stations:

This is the number of indoor monitors or screens that will be installed inside the property. Each indoor station allows you to communicate with visitors and manage the system.

Number of Outdoor Stations:

This is the number of units that will be installed outside at entry points like gates or front doors. The outdoor station is where visitors interact with the system.

Door Release Module:

The door release module allows you to remotely unlock a door from an indoor intercom station or from your phone. Select 'Provided by Third Eye Surveillance' if you need us to supply and install the module, or choose 'Customer has existing / Not Needed' if you already have one or do not require this feature.
