8MP Hikvision IP ColorVu — two-way audio, smart motion & siren
Residential install in Middlewich: full-colour night imaging where it matters, clear two-way talk on supported cameras, and an M-Series Hikvision NVR for recording and remote access from phone and PC.
What we fitted
8MP Hikvision IP cameras with ColorVu for strong low-light colour, plus two-way audio on the relevant positions so the household can speak and listen through the app where the cameras support it.
Recording & remote viewing
Hikvision M-Series NVR on site for reliable recording. Remote monitoring set up on mobile and PC so they can check live view and playback when away from home.
Smart motion & siren
Smart motion detection is configured so alerts are meaningful, not constant false alarms. Selected cameras trigger an alarm siren — a loud police-style siren on motion — so anyone on the property gets an immediate audible warning while designated cameras are active.
On site
Cabling, camera positions and NVR location were planned for clean coverage of approaches and key areas, with handover on how to use the app, playback and notification settings.
