The DS-9632NI-M8 supports up to 320 Mbps incoming bandwidth and 400 Mbps outgoing bandwidth, helping it handle multiple high-resolution IP cameras more effectively than basic recorders.
With powerful decoding performance, this NVR can support up to 2 channels at 32MP, 4 channels at 12MP, 8 channels at 8MP, 16 channels at 4MP or 32 channels at 1080p decoding, depending on the setup and stream configuration.
The recorder includes 2 HDMI and 2 VGA outputs, allowing flexible monitor display options. It supports 8K video output or dual 4K output, making it suitable for control rooms, monitoring stations and professional CCTV setups.
For storage, the DS-9632NI-M8 includes 8 SATA hard drive bays and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and N+M hot spare. This helps improve storage reliability and reduce the risk of data loss in larger CCTV systems.

This is not a basic plug-and-play home NVR. It is better suited for larger commercial CCTV systems where multiple cameras, high storage capacity and reliable recording are important.
Because this recorder has no built-in PoE, the system needs proper network planning with PoE switches, uplinks, correct cable routes and enough bandwidth.
